At Night 'N' Day Construction, we believe a home should be a true reflection of its owner. That’s why we love adding unique, custom touches that make your home distinctly you.
Whether it’s a statement ceiling, a hidden wine cellar, custom built-ins, or a one-of-a-kind fireplace, we ensure every detail is tailored to your style and needs.
When we build your home, it’s not just a house—it’s a personalized masterpiece designed around your life.
One of our favorite custom builds, this stunning home sits on 4 acres in Keller, TX, boasting 5,700 sq. ft. of air-conditioned space and 7,550 sq. ft. under roof. Built with exceptional craftsmanship, every detail reflects quality and precision.
The original construction showcased design elements ahead of its time—one of our signature traits as a custom home builder. Recently, Erin Letz, owner of Modern Grace Interiors, brought a fresh, modern touch while preserving its timeless charm.
From its grand design to the finest finishes, this home remains a true showcase of excellence and elegance—one that will always hold a special place on our list of favorites.
Another one of our favorites, this project wasn’t technically a new custom home but rather a remarkable transformation of a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas, TX. Our challenge was to preserve the architectural integrity Wright was known for while seamlessly modernizing the home—all while carefully maintaining its iconic roofline.
To enhance the space, we extended the entire back of the home, creating a luxurious primary suite and an extended sun porch that effortlessly blends old and new.
Inside, the home was completely gutted, allowing us to reimagine the layout. The laundry room was relocated near the bedrooms for added convenience, while interior walls were removed to open up the two living spaces and create an additional bonus room. The kitchen was expanded into a chef’s dream, featuring high-end appliances and a thoughtfully designed layout. One of the biggest challenges was relocating the plumbing for the laundry, kitchen, and new spa-like primary bathroom, as the original plumbing was embedded within the steel and concrete slab.
One of the home’s most striking original features—the soaring 20-foot brick fireplace—was preserved but thoughtfully enhanced. We enlarged its footprint and resurfaced it with limestone, carrying the same stone to the home’s exterior for a cohesive, elevated look. To further boost curb appeal, we added a circular driveway, complementing the home’s timeless charm.
Preserving a piece of architectural history can be even more challenging than building a brand-new custom home. But with this project, we embraced that challenge with pride, delivering a home that honors its past, while embracing modern beauty—an achievement we and the homeowner are incredibly proud of.
